Sarah Lewitzka: Provisional Psychologist

I am a provisional psychologist currently completing a Combined Clinical PhD at Flinders University. I am passionate about helping people better understand themselves, develop practical skills, and create meaningful change in their lives. I work with adults experiencing a range of difficulties, including anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, trauma-related concerns, depression, perfectionism, emotion regulation difficulties, and life stressors.

I believe that every person brings a unique combination of experiences, strengths, and challenges to therapy. My goal is to provide a warm, supportive, and non-judgemental space where clients feel safe to explore their experiences, build insight, and work towards goals that are meaningful to them. I take a collaborative approach to therapy and value tailoring treatment to each individual’s needs, preferences, and circumstances.

My practice is grounded in evidence-based approaches, primarily Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), while integrating elements from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and exposure-based interventions where appropriate. I enjoy helping clients develop confidence in managing difficult emotions, reducing avoidance, and building lives that feel more fulfilling and aligned with their values.

Areas of interest include:
• Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder
