My name is Max, and I am an accredited mental health social worker with extensive experience working in mental health.
Therapy
I work with adolescents (15+) and adults, with a strong interest in trauma therapy and perinatal mental health.
My work is centred around supporting people who have experienced trauma and complex trauma, with a focus on creating a safe and steady space to explore and process these experiences at a pace that feels right for each person. I also have a particular interest in perinatal and postnatal mental health, including depression, anxiety, and OCD during the perinatal period, as well as women’s mental health more broadly.

My practice is trauma-informed, evidence-based, and integrative, with a strong client-centred and strengths-based approach. I aim to create a safe and supportive space where clients can explore their experiences, develop insight, and work collaboratively toward meaningful change. Supervision
I offer supervision for social work students, new social work graduates, and experienced social workers, with a focus on reflective practice and building your mental health expertise while keeping in mind the AASW practice standards for social workers. I also provide supervision to social workers who are working towards their mental health accreditation through AASW and require regular supervision with an AASW mental health accredited supervisor. I specialize in trauma-informed care and have a particular passion for supporting individuals with complex trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and more.
