Eleanor Gardner: Registered Psychologist
Eleanor is taking new client referrals from July
I am a registered psychologist with experience supporting clients across the lifespan in both government and private settings. I believe that, regardless of our background or life experiences, each person has the capacity for growth and meaningful change. I aim to help clients improve their relationship with themselves, strengthen their mental health, and move toward a more fulfilling, values-aligned life.
I prioritise creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and comfortable exploring their inner experiences. I am naturally curious and deeply respectful of the trust clients place in me. I consider it a privilege to work alongside individuals as they develop insight, build skills, and create lasting change.
My practice is grounded in evidence-based approaches. I primarily draw on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), while integrating strategies from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). I have a particular interest in behavioural therapies, including exposure-based interventions and behavioural experiments, which can promote sustainable and meaningful behavioural change.
I take a collaborative approach to therapy, partnering with clients to develop practical, personalised strategies that foster emotional regulation, resilience, and overall psychological wellbeing.
