Work Functioning Assessments

Our Work Functioning Assessments are suitable for individuals experiencing performance challenges at work. They can be requested by an individual, medical specialist or employer. The Psychologist will review the performance concerns, identify psychosocial contributors, and make recommendations to promote effective workplace engagement and wellbeing.

A Work Functioning Assessment involves:

  • Phone interview with referrer to discuss reason for referral
  • Interview with employee
    • Brief psychosocial history
    • Relevant medical history
    • Current work demands and challenges
  • Psychometric Assessment is based on presenting challenges and agreed on at time of booking. This may include:
    • Cognitive assessment
    • Clinical assessment
    • Autism/ADHD/specific learning disorder assessment
  • Feedback session with the employee
  • Detailed report of all findings including recommendations to address concerns cited in referral.
