Assessment Fees

Our assessments range from between $660 to $2300 (GST inclusive) depending on what is required. Individual pricing for assessments can be obtained through contacting the practice as the inclusions are variable. We need to speak with people to be able to gain a good understanding of what they are seeking and from there we will refine the assessments specific to the person’s needs.

Payments plans for assessments can be arranged on request.

Assessment FAQ’s

What is included in an assessment and how long will it take?

Assessments will vary in length and format depending on what type of assessment is needed. Usually assessments will include the following:

  • An interview taking background history. This may be done with the individual, their family, or their support person. This can take place either in person or via telehealth.
  • Assessment session, this will be in person and over either one or two assessment sessions. Usually, assessment sessions are two hours in length but can sometimes be longer or shorter. You will be given a better estimate of time once we tailor the assessment to your individual needs
  • The provision of an assessment report.
  • A feedback session to review the report and answer any questions you have. This can be done with the individual, family or supports and can be in person or via telehealth.

Other elements may be included depending on what type of assessment you need, these may include observations at work, school, day options, other questionnaires, and other interviews.

How long will it be until I get a copy of my report?

We always endeavor to have a fast turnaround on reports. Once we have received all the information we need and conducted the assessment we aim to have reports completed within a 4-week timeframe. Often, we are able to provide the reports and feedback earlier than this. We will communicate with specific timeframes at the completion of your assessment.

Who gets a copy of my report?

As per confidentiality, we will send you a copy of your report and if you give us written permission, we can also forward this to other relevant people on your request. You are also able to forward the report to anyone who you think it might benefit.

What if I’m not sure what assessment I need?

If you think an assessment may be helpful but are unsure what you need, please contact us and our assessment coordinator can speak to you and provide suggestions on your individual circumstances.
