Jasmine Currall: Registered Psychologist
I am a Registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Prior to joining Inspired Psychology, I worked with adolescents and adults within a government setting.
I am passionate about supporting people to focus on their strengths, overcome perceived limitations and to improve their wellbeing. I believe the therapeutic relationship is paramount in supporting individuals to achieve their goals. I am a genuine, warm and empathic therapist with a strong desire to assist my clients to enact meaningful change in their lives.
I take a person-centred approach and like to work collaboratively with people. I utilise a range of interventions such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing and Solution Focussed Brief Therapy in my therapeutic practice.
Therapy
I am currently working with adolescents and adults and have an interest in and experience working with people in the following areas:
• Mood difficulties and disorders including depression
• Anxiety disorders (Social Phobia, Generalised Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, Specific Phobia’s, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder)
• Trauma including Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Complex Trauma
• Adjustment Disorder
• Stress Management
• Sleep issues
• Anger management
• Grief and loss
• Substance use
I am also involved in delivering Inspired Psychology’s SociAble Kids and Teens group therapy programs.
Assessments
I undertake cognitive/educational assessments and functional capacity assessments for adolescents and adults.
