My areas of interest include supporting adults in the areas of:

  • Anxiety and depression
  • Stress management, including work stress and adjusting to chronic health issues

I also have a special interest in:

  • supporting people living with physical and neurological disabilities
  • Supporting adults with intellectual disability and/or Autism Spectrum Disorder to improve their awareness of emotions, emotional regulation, social and interpersonal skills, and self-esteem.
  • Assisting families of adults with a disability to better understand and work through behavioural and emotional issues.

My interventions are informed by Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Mindfulness-based approaches. I adapt evidence-based therapies to the needs of the person in the room.
